    Extremely Rare!
Made by Les Trois Paulettes (The Three Chicks in French) Ceramics in Freemont, CA USA
I have seen LTP products just a few times in a few different states but really little is known about their sudden vanishing of their pottery business in the early 1990's. So let me tell you what I do know. LTP or
Les Trois Paulettes...French for The Three Chicks were three ladies who decided to start selling their ceramic designs in the late 1970's out of a pottery in Freemont, CA. The chicks were known for elegant and sleek designs of animals (rare one being their Black Panther) and their 1980's line of Country Kitchen Decor in "farmhouse chinoiserie" that included canisters, cookie jars, and statuettes, and more.
**Chinoiserie is french for blue & white color pattern...USA would be robin egg blue and off white egg shell. Yes folks...real life chicken egg colors inspired the country color pattern known today.
The chicks designs and craftsmanship was easily recognizably different from the other Bay Area Potters as well as their "trademark signatures" in their hand-painted artwork. All three chicks signed the bottoms of their finished products differently letting buyers know which girl was the potter. All chicks signed an LTP and their individual flare when adding a tail on the letter "P". One chick put hearts on the tail (that chick made these canisters) another chick added the letter "A" in the tail and the last chick always does a tail in "squiggles".
Their canister line was one of the flanker brands of the chicks "farmehouse chinoiserie" molds always recognizable for features NO ONE else was doing at the time. Along with their different signatures, there is also the chicks take on the hearth and home feel by painting morning glory climbing vines hodgepodge in a heart shape. Also, there are embossed teardrop beads painted in the artwork that serves as a "braille" feel that wasn't being done by other San Francisco potters making that unique to LTP. Their quality is also displayed in the fact there is no crazing after 40 years, so the chicks knowledge of kiln temperatures versus glaze application was very consistent on all their wares. Still today, the chicks hard to find items can still match and charm any kitchen.
