1950-1960 Foley Standard & Metric Measuring Spoons (4pc)

Succeeding Foley Saw & Tool company, Foley Manufacturing Co. was established between 1926 and 1929 as a innovated kitchen utensils and housewares manufacturer created by businessman Walter M. Ringer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
They became a household name when Foley (employee F.E. Collier) invented the Food Mill in 1934. The Food Mill was the first one handed, light weight, compact, aluminum but durable flour sifter made for the American kitchens.
By the mid 1960s, Foley started struggling with new kitchen gadget inventions and began focusing on the carpentry tool market. In 1982, Foley Manufacturing Co. merged with Belsaw Machinery and Tool and became the short lived Foley-Belsaw Co. The new company focused more on the productions of items such as circular saws, sharpening tools, planers, and woodworking tools. It is at this time that Foley's original kitchen inventions became a memory.
