This 3-piece set includes a teacup (or coffee cup), a creamer (pourer) and a sweetener jar with lid. It is made of fine China by the Lenox Corporation in Trenton, New Jersey for Gorham. The pattern is off white with Gold Rose Tapestry (6A), and each are made pedestalled to rest without saucers or plates.
Gorham is most notable for being a sterling silver flatware and holloware manufacturer that was founded in Providence, Rhode Island around 1831. In 1970, Gorham began a division with Textron in Pasadena, California to produce fine China drinkware in several elegant designs and patterns to match their silver flatware patterns. In 1984, Gorham ceased American production of their China and imported their products from Japan until selling their China division to the Lenox, Inc. of Lawrenceville, New Jersey in the 1990s. To this day, Lenox still makes fine China for the Gorham name under the umbrella of the Lenox Corporation (Clarion Capital Partners). Excellent Condition with no cracks or chips.
