Mystery Ugly Clay Pottery Mug

$20.00

  • Details
This was bought at an auction in Fort Worth, TX and was made in the 1980's.
It is handmade and pottery and a complete MYSTERY!
It looks like it was found with a cluster of barnacles on it at the bottom of the ocean. It has no actual
design, pattern, color, or artistic vision that would make since to anyone who enjoys handmade pottery.
It has a type of "bottle cap" design at the base which suggests being made by a child for a school project or more importantly made by an adult pottery maker with below average experience. IT IS UGLY!!!!
Make a great gag gift or coin jar. I say a coin jar because despite it being inelegant, inartistic, tasteless, and unattractive, it is made very well and is heavy and sturdy. No cracks or chips as far as I can tell.
    Weighs 1 lb 11 oz
    6" Tall
    Brim Across 3.25"
    Base Across 3.5"
    Brim to Handle 5"
